BAK Economics AG was founded in 1980 as a spin-off of the University of Basel, with which it maintains constant contact to this day. Since 1987, BAK Economics has taken on the characteristics of a private company under Swiss law.

In recent years, BAK Economics has developed further in order to provide its clients with an increasingly comprehensive range of services, in line with their transversal needs and in step with the most innovative technologies.
