Following the event The EU Packaging Strategy<\/em> with the participation of MEPs<\/strong>, Swiss Chamber is pleased to invite its community to a moment of discussion and reflection that aims to focus on what emerged on November 17 on the topic of plastics with the help of case histories and concrete examples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The circular economy<\/strong> approach to plastics management is crucial to addressing the environmental and social challenges related to single-use plastics and represents the viable path to a sustainable future<\/strong>. This approach prompts us to reconsider the life cycle of plastic products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is not only the environment that stands to gain, but also people and our entire country system. For this green economy model to succeed, it is crucial to develop an alliance between companies, institutions and citizens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Circular Economy of Plastic – Event themes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n


With the event The Circular Economy of Plastic: from Waste to Resource<\/em>, together with outstanding partners, we will present virtuous testimonies and case histories on circular economy issues, with a particular focus on plastic recovery, reuse and recycling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal is to show how change toward a world where plastic is not just a problem, but a valuable resource, is not only possible but already underway<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the keynote speech by COREPLA – Consortium for the Collection, Recycling and Recovery of Plastic Packaging, a panel discussion will show us how multiple actors implement the circular economy. From plastic tax<\/strong>, to environmentally friendly packaging design, to in-company awareness initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
