The Flower Showcase of “Fior Fiore della Svizzera”, c/o Swiss Corner, wins First Prize Gallery
Swiss Chamber wins the FuoriOrticola contest. With almost 15,000 votes Swiss Corner’s flower showcase won First Prize in the Gallery category at the Fuori Orticola flower showcase contest, the initiative promoted by the Orticola Association of Lombardy as part of the annual market exhibition.
On Sunday 14 May, at the Closing Ceremony of the event in the Giardini di Porta Venezia in Milan, Alessandra Modenese Kauffmann, Secretary General of Swiss Chamber collected the Trophy announced by Orticola President Gianluca Brivio Sforza and handed over by Csaba dalla Zorza – Editorial Director of Marie Claire Maison.

A success arising from the fruitful and unprecedented synergy between partners united by their excellence and Swissness.
The setting up of the seven Swiss Corner showcases was handled by Laboratorio Idee, the Italian branch of the Basel school of Floral Design Atelier 5. The creative team masterfully interpreted Orticola’s 2023 theme The Intelligence of Plants, drawing inspiration from the root system and their subtle ability to move. The floral material was entirely provided by technical partner Lombarda Flor.
Also much appreciated by the public was Ricola’s spectacular indoor display, which in its 9 backlit panels recreated the magnificent Swiss Alpine landscapes with its renowned 13 herbs. LAMBRO, the electric Cargo Bike from Repower also became an element of the concept in the outdoor area, as an example of sustainability and an object of design.
